  • KIS considers admissions based on age, academic readiness, and program-specific criteria. Applicants must submit prior academic records, proof of age, and other documents outlined in our Admissions policy

  • Students are admitted starting at 2 years and 6 months, subject to meeting developmental and other criteria outlined in the Admissions Policy.

  • KIS has over 200 students from diverse cultural and national backgrounds.
  1. Drop-off Time: the school gate is open from 7:30 AM
  2. Class starts
    • Upper Grades ( Prep to Grade 9):  8:00 AM
    • Lower Grades( KG): 9:00 AM
  3. Pick-up Time: 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM
  • KIS does not have a mandatory school uniform policy, allowing students to dress comfortably and appropriately for school activities.

Yes, KIS assigns homework to its students to reinforce classroom learning and develop skills like independence and time management. The amount of homework varies by grade level, starting from 15-20 minutes per day in Grades 1 and 2, increasing to 45-60 minutes per day in Grades 9 and 10. Additionally, students are expected to engage in daily reading activities: younger students may read for 10-15 minutes or have parents read to them, while older students are encouraged to read independently for up to 45 minutes each night. These reading tasks aim to improve literacy skills and cultivate a love for reading.

  • Currently, KIS does not offer transportation services. Parents are responsible for arranging transportation for their children.
