Kelem International School Resources
Kelem International School (KIS) in Addis Ababa is currently hosting a two-week professional development training session that focuses on the Finnish school system, with a special emphasis on inclusive education. The Kelemawian teachers are excited to have the opportunity to learn and grow, and they are not alone in this endeavor. Professors and teacher-students from Kotebe Teachers College have also joined the training, making it a collaborative effort to enhance educational practices.
This training is made possible through the collaboration between the Finnish Center for Expertise in Education and Development (FinCEED) and the Finnish Embassy in Addis Ababa. We are absolutely thrilled to be part of this learning experience and to gain valuable insights into the Finnish education system, renowned for its quality and inclusivity.
As we progress through the training, we eagerly anticipate the practical application of what we learn. We look forward to implementing these strategies and approaches within our school community, thereby enhancing the quality of education for our students.
